Mazda makes some very nice hybrid SUVs. If you have thought about buying a new SUV and you want a hybrid, you need to check out the models we have in stock. They include the Mazda CX-50 HEV,Mazda CX-70 PHEV, and Mazda CX-90 PHEV.

Mazda CX-50 HEV
So many letters to designate a name of an SUV, but those letters serve a purpose. The CX is Mazda's general designation for crossover SUVs. the "50" denotes a smaller, compact SUV compared to the rest of the SUVs in Mazda's lineup. The HEV stands for "hybrid electric vehicle". The Mazda CX-50 HEV is then a compact hybrid crossover SUV.
It has room for five passengers and gets an EPA-estimated 38 miles combined electric and gas power. Alexa is built in, allowing you to issue voice commands to the infotainment center built into the dash. It does allow for a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. The CX-50 has three trim levels to choose from.
Mazda CX-70 PHEV
In terms of size, the CX-70 is larger than the CX-50. It can accommodate a third row of seats, but, if you prefer the extra cargo room, you can buy or lease it without the third row. When sold as-is, it only has room for five passengers and two rows of seats. When you custom-build it, you can get the third row.
The CX-70 is a plug-in hybrid, as denoted by the "P" in front of the HEV. If you want to have regular electric power, you do have to plug it in overnight and wherever there happens to be a plug-in charging station near you. The CX-70 PHEV comes with a Level 1 charging cord that plugs into any 120-volt outlet.
A particularly nice feature of this PHEV is that it can tow up to 3,500 pounds, a ton more than its smaller relative CX-50 HEV. There are only two trim levels for the CX-70 PHEV; the Premium and the Premium Plus.

Mazda CX-90 PHEV
The largest of Mazda's hybrid SUVs, the CX-90 PHEV has everything you could want in an SUV. Like the CX-70 PHEV, it is a plug-in hybrid, but it has greater range. While it can go up to an EPA-estimated 26 miles on an electric charge alone, on hybrid gas and electric it can reach an EPA-estimated 490 miles before needing to charge up and refuel. There may be special offers from Mazda on this particular hybrid if you are a qualified buyer.
In terms of technology, the CX-90 has a very nice feature that allows you to charge your laptops, tablets, and phones with available in-vehicle 1500-watt charging ports. That includes ports for the third and final row of seats inside the vehicle so that every passenger has access to a charging station for their devices.
The interior of the CX-90 PHEV is extremely roomy, offering up to eight passengers space to spread out and relax. The kinematic posture control reduces side to side roll of everybody in the vehicle when the SUV turns corners creating smooth maximum comfort while you ride and drive. Additionally, the CX-90 PHEV has five driving modes that you can preselect before you start driving so that your tires and suspension are consistently balanced and, on the road, while you drive. There are three trim levels available for this plug-in hybrid SUV.
