What's New for the Mazda CX-30

The Mazda CX-30 continues to improve with thoughtful updates that boost its appeal. The lineup now includes eight different trim levels, featuring the stylish Aire Edition variants that add fresh looks to both naturally aspirated and turbocharged models. Drivers in St. Clairsville will value the expanded options that allow for more personalization, whether looking for efficiency or exciting performance.

Performance That Inspires Confidence

The Mazda CX-30 provides two engine options to match different driving styles. The natural aspirated 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G four-cylinder engine delivers 186 horsepower and is paired with a smooth six-speed automatic transmission that includes manual-shift and sport modes for more driver involvement. This efficient powertrain offers good fuel economy, with 24 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway.

For enthusiasts craving more power, the turbocharged 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G engine delivers an exciting 227 horsepower with advanced pressure technology. The turbo models include paddle shifters for those who want even greater control over their driving. Residents of Wheeling, WV will find that both engine options offer responsive acceleration and confident handling on various terrain. Full-time all-wheel drive is standard throughout the lineup, ensuring reliable traction in all weather conditions, while the brake-actuated limited-slip differential improves cornering stability.

Interior Comfort and Craftsmanship

Step inside the Mazda CX-30, and you'll notice a cabin built with careful attention to detail and passenger comfort. Seating for five is standard, with front bucket seats offering different levels of adjustment depending on the trim level. Higher trims come with eight-way power-adjustable driver seats that include power lumbar support and two-position memory settings, ensuring a comfortable driving position for every trip.

Materials vary from quality cloth upholstery on the base model to luxurious leather seats on premium trims, with leatherette options on mid-range models. The Carbon Edition has distinctive red leather seats, while the Aire Edition highlights unique leatherette with gray cloth or synthetic suede inserts. Most trims include heated front seats as standard, and voice-activated dual-zone automatic climate control ensures comfortable temperatures for driver and passengers across Morgantown, WV and beyond.

Exterior Design Excellence

The Mazda CX-30 showcases the brand's award-winning Kodo: Soul of Motion design philosophy. It measures 173.0 inches long, 70.7 inches wide, and 61.4 inches tall, giving the CX-30 athletic proportions that stand out in the crowded crossover market. The 104.4-inch wheelbase offers a stable foundation while keeping Mazda's signature nimble character.

Wheel options include 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a gray metallic finish on the base trim, and 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels available in silver or black metallic finishes on higher trims. Auto on/off projector beam LED headlamps with auto high-beam feature light the road ahead, while body-colored or black power-heated side mirrors with turn signal indicators enhance the refined exterior look. Some trims come with an express open/close sliding and tilting glass sunroof with a sunshade, offering an open-air experience.

Advanced Safety Technologies

Mazda emphasizes driver and passenger safety with comprehensive features across the CX-30 lineup. Standard equipment includes Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist System with Lane Departure Warning, and collision mitigation with automatic emergency braking. The Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go makes highway driving more relaxing, while driver monitoring alerts help keep attention on the road.

Higher trims include Smart Brake Support for rear and crossing scenarios, front and rear parking sensors, and the Cruise Traffic Support system on the Turbo Premium Plus model. The aerial view camera system available on premium models offers a complete view around the vehicle, making parking and maneuvering in tight spaces easier than ever. Dynamic Stability Control and a full set of airbags, including driver and passenger knee airbags and rear side-impact airbags, provide extra peace of mind for families in Canonsburg.

Technology and Connectivity

The Mazda CX-30 keeps you connected with the MAZDA CONNECT infotainment system, which features displays ranging from 8.8 inches to 10.25 inches depending on the trim level. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, with wireless connectivity available on most trims. Alexa Built-in allows voice-controlled access to navigation, smart home devices, and more.

Premium audio experiences are available in higher trims with the Bose 12-speaker system featuring Centerpoint2 and AudioPilot2 technology. Available features include a head-up display, Qi wireless charging, in-vehicle Wi-Fi, and remote services such as remote engine start. The multifunction commander control enables intuitive system operation without taking your eyes off the road.
