Yesterday, Mazda issued a press release announcing that AUTOMOBILE Magazine has named the 2016 MX-5 Miata to its 2016 All-Star list. The annual list highlights seven all-new vehicles determined to be the best on the road today.
Contenders were evaluated at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada, and winners were chosen by a staff vote. Editors praised the vehicles fun-to-drive personality, open-top experience, and impressively sorted suspension.
“There’s a reason the Mazda MX-5 Miata has been named an AUTOMOBILE All-Star an unprecedented 11 times,” said Mike Floyd, editor-in-chief of AUTOMOBILE. “It’s arguably the best bang-for-the-buck sports car of all time.
